Coronavirus Update on Transport

There is a good level of public transport available at present in Lochaber.  Most operators are providing a regular timetable plus extensive details so passengers can keep distanced and safe during the Coronavirus restrictions.   More info is available here.

Because of the current restrictions it’s not possible to hold Transport Forum Meetings.  Due to many venues being closed and the general difficulties of arranging distanced and safe indoor public meetings there are no Forum Meetings planned for the foreseeable future.

The Lochaber Transport Forum is an alliance of individuals and agencies interested in the co-ordination, development and improvement of public and community transport.

We are a constituted body with a very broad ranging membership that includes Community Groups, Community Transport Associations, Highland Council, Statutory and Non-Statutory Organisations, Voluntary Organisations and Local Public Transport Operators & Providers.   This gives many opportunities to discuss and resolve local transport issues.

Membership is free and open to anyone.

The Transport Forum does not operate any of the transport listed in this website.  We cannot help directly with up to the minute details so please use the links provided to access travel information including, timetables, road closures, accidents, delays and weather conditions.

Only contact the Transport Forum if you have any problems with the information given on the website.
